How to Send Money
Deposits may be made into inmates’ commissary accounts online at the Tiger Commissary website. Commissary packages may also be ordered and directly shipped to inmates. For more information, visit the Tiger Commissary website and select Arkansas, Van Buren County, and the inmate whose account is to be funded.

Video visitation at Van Buren County jail is operated by CitiTeleCoin. For more information and to purchase and schedule remote video visits, go to their website. Visitors are required to create an account. Once logged in, select the state, facility, and inmate to be visited to obtain more information.

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office website hosts a Most Wanted roster, which includes the wanted offenders’ names, identifying details, last known addresses and employers, charges and mugshots or other available photographs. The Sheriff’s Office also has a Facebook where posts concerning the department and jail are made.
Van Buren County Sheriff Information
The county jail is operated by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office. The current Sheriff is Eric Koonce and the Chief Deputy Derek Adams. Administration also includes Lt. CID Chasta Harrison, LT. Patrol Ethan Ward, and Jail Administrator Jamie Love. Chief Deputy Derek Adams supervises the patrol division, which includes approximately sixteen staff members. Patrol deputies’ names and email addresses are available on the Sheriff Office’s website. The Office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Van Buren County occupies an area of 724 square miles in central Arkansas. In 2020, the population was 15,796. The county seat and largest city is Clinton. There is also an Arkansas city named Van Buren, which is located roughly 100 miles west in Crawford County.

FOIA requests should describe the records sought in as much detail as is available (i.e. names, dates, locations, type of incident, etc) and provide the full name and contact information of the person making the request. They may be delivered to the Sheriff’s Office in person or by postal mail, email, or fax. The fee may need to be paid prior to delivery of records.
