The Washington County jail is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It has a capacity of 710 inmates. Supervision of the jail is provided by Detention Major Randall Denzer and Detention Captain Nolan Ake.

A detailed inmate roster is available online. There is also a “Detainee Charge Report,” which shows how many people are incarcerated in Washington County jail for specific charges, and a “Detention Intake Report,” which provides information about those incarcerated in Washington County in the past three days. Offender profiles include inmates’ full names and identifying details, intake, bond, booking, and court details, charges, and mugshots.

How to Send Mail or Package

All personal mail to inmates must include a complete return address and the sender’s first and last name.

Funds may be added to detainees’ accounts in the jail lobby, where cash and major credit cards are accepted, and online at the JailATM website, which accepts all major credit cards. For more information about the commissary, call (479) 444-5873, Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Visitation Hours

Inmate visitation is operated by JailATM. Visits must be scheduled at least 2 and no more than 9 days in advance. In person visits from the kiosk in the detention center lobby are free. Remote visits held from any internet-enabled device with a camera (i.e. smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc) may be purchased and scheduled online at the JailATM website.

Sheriff’s Office records are public information and copies are available for a small printing fee, in accordance with the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). FOIA requests should describe the records sought in as much detail as possible (i.e. names, dates, locations, type of record, etc) and provide the full name and contact information of the person making the request. These requests may be submitted in person or by mail, email, or fax.
