How to Send Mail or Package
Personal mail to inmates is scanned and made available for viewing via kiosks. Those sending mail are encouraged to subscribe to MailGuard Tracker to view delivery status, receive notifications of rejected mail, and download copies of mail that has been received and processed. Upon release, inmates may download their photos, messages, and mail for free. Mail to inmates should be addressed to:

To add funds to inmates’ accounts, there are kiosks in the lobby. Funds may also be added online at JailATM’s website.
Visitation Hours
Onsite and remote video visitation are both available at Garland County jail. Onsite visits should be scheduled via the video visitation vendor 24 hours in advance. Visitation is Thursday through Sunday from noon to 8:40 p.m. and inmates may have two visits per week. Visitors should arrive 15 minutes early. Two people may attend each visit, not including children under the age of five. Minors should be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or adult family member. Onsite visits are free.
Remote video visitation is operated by SmartInmate. Visitors should create an account on their website and purchase and schedule visits at least 24 hours in advance. Visits last 20 or 40 minutes and are available Monday through Sunday from noon to 8:40 p.m.
